1.Powerful, Compact and High-Speed Devices for Automated Weighing

These compact, easy-to-integrate weight transmitters are designed for OEMs and control system integrators with connectivity, cabinet space, and speed in mind. The integrated display, including a keyboard and four LEDs, allows quick status checks without any software tools or remote displays. With condition monitoring capabilities, the ACT family includes many functions that report both running status and error constrictions. Easily integrate the extremely accurate modules and scales for automatic weighing applications where accuracy is critical to quality and cost savings.

2.Excellent Connectivity

With certified device drivers, ACT weight transmitters can be easily integrated into most common automation systems. This built-in Ethernet switch allows daisy chain and ring connection to the PLC/DCS, which reduces project and maintenance costs. 3.Onboard Display and Keypad

A built-in display and keypad provides easy setup, diagnostics, status (indicated by text) and weight for local calibration. Four indicator LEDs show network status and device conditon. The local display and keypad provide easy setup and diagnostics directly at the unit. Transmitter status and weight value are easy to check independent of other devices. In addition, the compact DIN-rail housing saves valuable cabinet space.

The ACT transmitters are integrated with a web server, allowing for setup and control via Ethernet remotely from any network location in the facility. 1. You want to fill a bag on a vibration feeder with high accuracy and transfer the weight signal in high speed to a PLC. What would be a good solution?

We recommend using analog weigh modules such as MultiMount and the TrasDSP filter of the ACT350 weight transmitter. That would update the PLC reading up to 800/s and provide excellent accuracy.

2. Are you looking for a small capacity 3 kg (10 lb.) weighing solution with Allen Bradly/Rockwell Ethernet/IP connectivity?

METTLER TOLEDO single-point load cells start at 3 kg and can be easily connected to Allen Bradly/Rockwell PLCs via ACT350 transmitters

3. How can you connect my weighing device to an Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC?

We offer various levels of scale indicators and transmitters supporting Allen Bradly/Rockwell connectivity e.g. for Device Net and Ethernet/IP.

4. You need to weigh high speed with a quick settling time. What is your solution?

For high-speed weighing, two elements are important. First, a high update rate of 100 Hz and beyond is required. Many of our terminals and transmitters update at that speed. Second, fast filtering is required to get rid of noise. METTLER TOLEDO TraxDSP filters are designed for this purpose.
